Symptoms of Breast Cancer

The symptoms of breast cancer can vary between each person, while some people do not experience any signs or symptoms. Warning signs of breast cancer include:

  • A new lump in the breast or underarm
  • Part of the breast thickening or swelling
  • Breast skin dimpling or irritation
  • Skin that is flaky or red in the nipple area or breast
  • Pain in the nipple area or pulling in of the nipple
  • Discharge, other than breast milk, coming from the nipple including blood
  • Changes in the size or shape of the breast
  • Breast pain in any area

It is important to note that these symptoms can occur with other conditions that are not cancer.
